Christi & Darris – August 15, 2009
I am personally drawn to people that are quick to smile. There are some people out there that can smile and make your whole day brighten. Christi and Darris are two such people. It was so sweet to watch their expressions during the ceremony. There is no doubt that they are in love.
We started the day off with getting ready photos at the Sheraton St. Louis City Center Hotel. I love this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and full of gorgeous light for preparation photos. The lobby also makes a nice place for quick pre-ceremony photos. After the ceremony we rushed over to Forest Park before heading back to the Sheraton Hotel for the reception.
The reception had a lot of very personal touches to it. Besides a fun and energetic entrance to Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” their brother and friend serenaded them with two of their favorite songs. The dance floor was completely packed thanks to some good music and a lively crowd. It was one of those weddings where no one wanted to go home.
