It’s their chance to publicly display their love, dedication and commitment to the world.

I love to photograph the excitement, the energy,  and the planned events of the day.  But even more so, I love the quiet moments that genuinely profess the couple’s love to one another.

This photo of Meghan and Mike is very special to me.  I was watching them carefully during the speeches.  Meghan leaned closer to Mike and Mike instinctively leaned into Meghan  until they touched.  It was only for a brief moment as it was soon interrupted by the raising and clinking of glasses.  But in that soft little moment, there was a love, a connection and a energy that made me realize how perfect the two of them are together.

Becky & Jeff’s beautiful wedding started with getting ready at one of my favorite hotels, Renaissance Grand Hotel, followed by an incredible ceremony and reception at the unique and whimsical City Museum.

Erin Schulte, St. Louis’s lighting guru at Exclusive Events, did a great job making the ballroom all that more elegant with her amazing design work.  We also got to work with the talented videographers Angee and Brian with Archway Media, who I would recommend in a heartbeat for videography services.

Becky and Jeff, thank you very much for having us as your wedding photographers.  We had a wonderful time working with you!  We hope the photos will bring back fond memories for many years to come.

Heather & Sam ~ July 18, 2009

We were quite honored to be the wedding photographers at Heather & Sam’s wedding at the City Museum in St. Louis.

Besides being a wonderful couple with an awesome wedding party and a beautiful ceremony and reception, Heather and Sam also have a special wedding date.  Peter and I were married exactly 10 years before them.  It was fun to celebrate our anniversary by shooting their wedding.
